With its first UHD Blu-ray recorders, the DMR-UBS90 (DVB-S/S2) and DMR-UBC90 (DVB-C / DVB-T2 HD), Panasonic introduced its unique product concept of receiving, recording and archiving with one device into the next era. The new high-end recorders are already capable of receiving and recording Ultra HD TV signals. Both also carry the Ultra HD Premium logo of the UHD Alliance. Film fans can look forward to the genuine home entertainment of the UHD Blu-ray Disc. Of course, these innovations are fully downwardly compatible all the way to the CD. In addition, they support 4K video-on-demand services such as Netflix.
The DMR-UBC90 is equipped with a triple tuner that can receive and record both UHD, HDTV and TV programs with standard resolution. Thanks to HLG (Hybrid Log Gamma) support, the recorder is also perfectly prepared to process future UHD transmitters with HDR (High Dynamic Range). Panasonic also offers the unique possibility to burn the recordings from the integrated hard disk to the long-term archiving potential of the Blu-ray Disc or DVD.
Those of you who want to enjoy crisp HDR images or the 4K video-on-demand service Netflix, or play a UHD Blu-ray Disc, then prepare yourself to be spectator of a spectacular viewing experience on this device. The DMR-UBS90 is certified by the UHD Alliance ‘Ultra HD Premium’. A resolution of 3,840 x 2,160 pixels, HDR (HDR10) as well as more than one billion representable colour tones (10-bit) results in lifelike images with incredible depth effect.
